Frequently Asked Questions

1. How do I know if my child might benefit from Occupational therapy or Music therapy?
If you notice your child having challenges with attention, emotions, social skills, movement, or daily routines, or if you’re unsure what support is best, please reach out to us. We’re happy to discuss your child’s unique needs and help determine the most suitable approach.

2. What’s the role of parents in therapy?
Parents are key partners in the therapy process. We value your insight and involvement, and we often share strategies, reflections, and simple activities to support your child’s progress at home and in daily life.

3. Do you come to our home or school?
Yes! We are a mobile service, meaning we come to your home, school, early learning centre, or other community locations that are convenient and comfortable for your child.

4. What kinds of needs or diagnoses do you support?
We work with children with autism, ADHD, developmental delays, sensory processing challenges, and other neurodevelopmental or emotional needs - always with a neuroaffirming and strengths-based approach.

5. Do I need a referral to access your services?
No referral is needed! Parents and carers can contact us directly. However, referrals from doctors or allied health professionals are welcome, especially for NDIS or other funding pathways.

6. Can I use NDIS funding for your services?
Yes! If your child has self-managed or plan-managed NDIS funding, we can provide services under both occupational therapy and music therapy categories.

7. What does a typical session look like?
Each session is tailored to your child’s goals and interests. We use play-based activities, songs, movement, and interactive tools to build skills in a way that feels fun, safe, and engaging.
